Class Description
Level 1-2
A great place to start! Ideal for both new and continuing students who want to achieve a deeper awareness of form and the mind-body connection. Components of classical sun salutes are taught, as well as most traditional standing poses, gentle twists, backbends, forward folds, and optional safe inversions. (90 minutes)
Gentle Yoga
Perfect for new students, senior citizens, and those who are recovering from accidents, surgery, and cancer. This class will help to relieve anxiety, stress, and depression. Also great for pre/post natal students. (60 minutes)
Pre/Post-Natal
For the new mom or mom-to-be. Breathing exercises help to de-stress and to focus. Learn poses that will help to lengthen and stretch the quickly-changing body and make you feel better. This class is especially recommended for those suffering from sciatic nerve pressure, back pain, and those preparing for birth. (60 minutes)
Kick Your Asana!
A mixed level class taught in a friendly environment so everyone can enjoy a vinyasa flow class. Build heat, stamina, and upper body strength by flowing through postures. Sun salutations and a wide range of inversions, twists, deep back bends, and arm balances are practiced. Ashtanga-influenced. (90 minutes)
Kick Your Asana every Friday Night!
Don't be intimidated by the name! A fun vinyasa flow class set to cool music. Alternating instructors Lisa, Julie, Mod, and Kama. (90 minutes)
Hour of Power
A mixed-level vinyasa flow class in a one-hour format. Come build heat and strength, burn fat, and make it home in time for dinner! (60 minutes)
Lunch Time Yoga
Take a break to stretch, breathe, and de-stress for a better day. Gentle twists, forward folds, and standing postures, taught in a non-heated room so you can get back to work without breaking a sweat. In the summer the air conditioner is used. (50 minutes)
Nithya Dhyaan Meditation
Emotions and thoughts give birth to our mental set up and attitude. Understanding these emotions and thoughts is the first and final step towards moving beyond it. Nithya Dhyaan meditation is designed by Paramahasmsa Nithyananda to do just this. Held at Leeza's Ashram at her home (Please contact us for the address and directions), bring three blankets or a bolster or a cushion. (35 min.) Class begins at 6:10, Doors lock at 6:15 and the class will end at 6:45 am
Kid's Yoga
This class explores basic standing and seated poses, breathing, and safe inversions, taught in a kid-friendly environment. Appropriate for children 3 and older. (60 minutes)
Belly Dancing
The Belly Dancing Class will be going on Break until January.
The last class for this year is on November 18th. Look forward to shaking your shimmy in January!!!
Come shake and shimmy your way to toned abdominals, strong arms and legs, graceful movement, and FUN! Folkloric Traditional style. (60 minutes)
